Default New Titles!

I really think there needs to be new titles for quests. Ijust made a new guy and hes in fort ranik right now (Post searing), and I see no point in doing them because the rewards blow. Anybody agree?

Some of the quest rewards are skills. I think those are pretty good rewards.

Agreed. Let's look in the Heroes' Ascent. Do you really think so many people still enjoy playing HA again, and again? I'd say, people DO HAVE motivation to play it. To achieve higher rank, to get a new emote. What do we have in PvE? It's rather boring doing missions again and again, if you want more PvE chars. It's like IWAY, you get bored after a while of fighting against it... Still, people DO PLAY it. But, to be honest, in PvE the situation is different. Let's look at some (especially later ones) missions in Cantha. Most of the time they are like a ghost towns. Let's look to Heroes Ascent. How many district are there? Almost all the time 3 international districts with pretty high population.

A.Net, since I am mostly PvP player I don't care about PvE so much anymore, but, I feel pitty for people that does only PvE. What's their motivation to play further, after they beat the game? I know, there are some people, that find their motivation for continue. But most people I talked to cannot find it. IS it really that hard to ask for some new titles, like rank, but PvE oriented? Not just silly text under their names.

PS: Sorry for my english, but I hope you get my point

Doesn't PVP have like maybe 3-4 max titles and than PVE has everything else?

Everyone does quests, why make it a title gain?

Default New Titles

If A-Net were going to add new titles, i would like to see some Trade Titles, eg earn a certain amount of money from trades or even spending a certain amount of money

^Nope never going to happen. Two friends just pass the money around and eventually they both get the two titles.

I think the Drunkard and Tickets titles show that you also spend a lot of gold (and time)

i'd like more titles, to be sure. Perhaps even some cool emote. I'd really like profession specific emotes/titles.

I also think titles for things "everyone does" would be neat, but others shoot down such ideas/suggestions for usually one of two reasons.
1) Cheapens the unfortunate Kind of a Big Deal title. (I say unfortunate, because so many ideas get responses saying something to this effect, and it seems that the KoaBD title gives an excuse for shooting down titles. Bugs me.)
2) What would be the point if everyone had it? Or some varient thereof, such as titles should be something you have to work for, etc. While I don't disagree that there should be such titles, I still think it would be awesome to have other ones that "everyone can get by playing the game." Usually, the response 1 is cited as well.

So bleh. Yes, I would like new PvE titles/emotes. A lot of people seem to be against that for some reason.

1. i have no idea what you are trying to say.... are you saying you dont like the mission-complete titles? You want a title for doing the missions half-way? What title would that be.... Lazy (1) ? It gives the people who actually DO want to complete them a little prestige over people like you who dont care. I think its simple, and effective.

2. I agree that pVe-ONLY ppl are missing out big time. But then again- If you are ONLY doing pvp then I also think you are missing out big time.
There needs to be balance. Like me, I spend my before-work hours doing arena battles or alliance battles... at night when more of my guild is on, we usually do PvE. You cant truly have one without the other and still get the complete guild wars experience. Denying one aspect of the game is only lessening the amount of content you can get...

And the only way to get better at PvP is to actually do it- I know a lot of people try it once, get their butts handed to them on a silver platter, and never go back. Thats bad form... you arent a true video game player if you say that one is more important than the other (unless you REALLY want 100,000 dollars- in which case yes, you need GvG skills :P)

If you are a balanced player, whisper me to join my Cult. I am "C R U X S H A D O W"

Or if you disagree with my view, please disregard this post
